These trips are recommended by Eddy primarily to those returning to Madagascar who have already been on a southern tour or on one of the islands and have fallen in love with the country so much that they will rediscover it over and over again. The western tour is recommended from June to mid-November, with a minimum stay of 10 days.

Participants in the western tour can explore the Kirindy Reserve, watch the sunset at Baobab Avenue (this most photographed landscape in Madagascar), meet the fossil of the only predator on the island, and if they are lucky enough to see the microcebus as the smallest night lemur.

Below we have received two suggested programs from Eddy that are worth considering:

  1. TSIRIBIHINA RIVER LANDING, 13 DAY WESTERN TOUR: TSINGY NATIONAL PARK, KIRINDY RESERVE, MORONDAVA BEACH
  2. TSIRIBIHINA RIVER LANDING, KIRINDY RESERVE MORONDAVA BEACH, ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK
The descent of the Tsiribihina River is typically done from April to mid-November.
